12th March 2014 What is a Witch and the Western Mystery Tradition
We shall be discussing what is meant by the Western Mystery Tradition and the Craft's place within it. We shall examine exactly what we mean by the word mystery. We will discuss the difference between the Craft and Paganism and Craft and Cunning. We shall also discuss what we mean by the word Witch.
19th March 2014 Integrity and Commitment
We shall be discussing the importance of integrity and commitment in following a mystical tradition. What do we mean by integrity? Why is commitment important in magic?
2nd April 2014 An Epistemology of the Craft and Belief
This session will be lead by Dave Bracey. He shall be looking at what Karen Armstrong means by Logos and Mythos and the problem of Gilbert Ryle's category mistake in religion and spirituality. We shall be discussing what we mean by belief and why it is important. We shall also be trying to define what we mean by religion, spirituality and the occult.
9th April 2014 Glamour
This session will be led by Barry and Kevin. Glamour is where we mistake illusion for reality, it is where we mistake the symbol for the experience it represents. It is where trappings such as 'magic' wands, velvet robes and a witchy image over-shadow the quest for the mysteries.
16th April 2014 Self Actualization/Self Awareness
This session will be led by Lara. She will be discussing self awareness and its importance to the Craft. We shall also be looking at Maslow's concepts of self actualisation and peak experiences and how the relate to Witchcraft.

Concentration, visualization and meditation are central skills fundamental to magical training and practice. All magical and mystical traditions make use of altered states of consciousness. 7th May 2014 An Introduction to Jung’s model of the psyche
A DVD of a lecture by Prof. Joseph Campbell who talks about the function of myth and discusses Jung's model of the psyche. He speaks about key Jungian concepts such as archetypes and their relevance to myth and the mysteries.
14th May 2014 Nature/Supernatural and Sacred Sites
What do we mean by Nature? John Stuart Mill makes the distinction between wild nature, the nature of something and Nature which encompasses everything. Can there be such thing as the supernatural, or is it supra-natural? Is Craft really a nature tradition? Does natural necessarily mean good or healthy? What is a sacred site and are they relevant to the Craft? Martika will be delivering a pathworking for spring.

Lara shall be leading this session. We shall be taking a trip up to Combs Wood with some plant identification books and getting you to identify common wild plants with medicinal and folkloric associations.

Is power the same thing as energy or have the New Agers made a category mistake? What is power and how can we experience it? We shall be examining the eight ways of raising power and their relationship with emotion, authority and altered states of consciousness.
23rd July 2014 Psychic Self Defense
Before we adventure into the mysteries it is important to be able to defend ourselves firstly from external forces that may threaten our psyche and secondly potentially from 'denizens' of the inner planes. Martika will be taking you through some practical techniques of PSD.
30th July 2014 Sacred Sexuality
Sexuality is the fuel of the Craft and is a fundamental part of life. In this session we shall be examining the difference between sex and sexuality and the role of sexuality in the experience of the mysteries. We shall be discussing the use of gender interplay in Craft rituals, and the concept of polarity and how it differs from duality; polarity having monist underpinnings. We shall also be discussing the Jungian concepts of anima and animus and relating them to the experience of the Divine within. Martika will take you on a pathworking to experience the Lady.
6th August 2014 Skyclad
Why do Witches perform their rituals skyclad? We shall discuss and quickly dismiss some of the popular reasons offered and look to sociological reasons, symbolic reasons: the counter cultural nature of the Craft and the dropping of personas and the experience of self. Rhys will be delivering a pathworking to experience the Horned Lord.
27th August 2014 Health, Healing and the Craft
Kevin will be leading this session. In this session he shall be discussing a lifestyle approach to health and how it relates to the Craft. We shall also be looking at healing techniques and the placebo effect.
3rd September 2014 Incense Making
Barry and Janet will be leading this session. In this practical session Barry shall be introducing you to the art of incense making. We shall be burning some incense that are used in ritual to give you a flavour of what to expect. The session will involve a discussion on why witches use incense in ritual. We shall be giving you a recipe for making coven incense that takes a year to complete and introduce you to the art of incense making for personal use. Finally we shall be discussing the benefits of nettles before asking you to consider your own personal relationship to a plant.
10th September 2014 Wine making and the Craft
The process of wine making is an excellent metaphor for the process of the Craft. We shall be discussing the role of wine in the Craft and talking about how to make country wines. We might also, subject to driving, taste some wines as well.
24th September 2014 The Elements
This session will be led by Martika. In this session she shall be discussing the elements from their conception in Empedocles's 'On Nature', Aristotle and the fifth element and how they relate to Jung's four functions. We shall also be discussing the symbolism of the elements and how they are relevant to the modern Craft.
1st October 2014 Types of meditation and writing pathworkings
We will be discussing types of meditation on of the paths to gnosis and kenosis and how to write pathworkings. We will also ask you to write pathworkings to be performed over the coming weeks.
8th October 2014 Tools of the Craft
In this session we shall be looking at the tools of the Craft. We shall use them as a spring board to discuss symbolism and Wittgenstein and aspect perception which are of importance to how we see the world and consequently to the Craft. The first trainee pathworking.
22nd October 2014 Levels of reality/Body numinous
What is reality? We will be discussing phenomenal and noumenal reality, levels of reality and relating this to the body numinous. We will be discussing what we mean by the inner planes and the semantic landscape and how they are used within modern occultism. The second trainee pathworking.
29th October 2014 Dreams- Jung interpretation
Campbell reckons that myths are dreams made public, perhaps dreams are private myth. We shall be looking at dreams and dream interpretation before moving onto lucid dreaming and 'astral projection'. We shall also be inducing and out of body experience in a 'lucky' trainee. The third trainee pathworking.
5th November 2014 Dowsing
This session will be lead by Tricia Bracey. In this session she looks at dowsing with pendulums and rods. We cut through the nonsense associated with the subject and we claim it works through ideomotor (unconscious muscle) movements and making information conscious that we may have picked up sub-consciously.
